About Me

I am a graduate in general agriculture. Since my childhood, i have loved to be one of the best renown agricultural specialist with an aim of increasing food output by offering consultancy services. From a high school to a middle college before landing for the big career in the university.

After longing to become who my elder brother was while growing, agricultural consultancy has finally come my way. Today, i have set up my small office in the rural center where most farmers are found. I advise them from land preparation, planting, type and choice of variety of seeds, harvesting, storage and how to secure a faster market especially for horticulture. Many people knock my office as early as 7am in the morning to get such services. In my office i have a working table, a laptop and different charts for demonstration. However much i try to have my work in the office, there is a high number of people who want practical information in the field. I have found myself in the field more often than in the office. I can say i have got it finally. My dream come true.

My Business

Through my consultancy office, i can serve at least 5 clients a day. I have just employed a receptionist to receive and register clients when i go to the field. My consultancy fee is Ksh 250.

Right now, clients would require me to supply them with written advice on the quantities and level of need for a particular horticulture crop. This needs a paper work i.e a laptop and a printer. I would like Zidisha to give me a loan to purchase a 3 purpose middle sized printer for this purpose. The printer will be used to print business handouts to my clients.

My horticultural farming consultancy fee is Ksh 250. I would use the loan to purchase 3 purpose middle sized printer to make business handouts to my clients as they require. The cost for the Desk jet printer is $ 73. The printer will be used to make sure that clients receive written farming ideas which they can refer to. It will also help me go to the field with, printed illustrations and a brochure indicating my services. I expect to double my profits within the first month.
