I am a 27 years old lady single and just in my final year at Maseno University where I study Business Administration.I am in business of retail shop where I sell food stuff and household items. I have done this business for about 2 years now. My lectures are in the mornings from 10.00 am – 2.00 pm so I open up my shop from 6.00am- 10.00am then I go for classes and return at 2.00pm and open up again until 10.00pm. The most unique thing about the land and culture where i live is that the land is fertile and has alot of fish from the lake Victoria. My hobbies are cycling, travelling, reading and making friends.
I do sales of food stuff and household items at kondele market in Kisumu town at my shop. The main reason why customers prefer my shop is that i offer affordable pricing ,credit facility and also open early I also offer quality and affordable food stuff compared to others. At the moment, the challenge am facing is lack of a refrigerator especially for my fruits and cold drinks during this dry and hot season. I used to make about 180 US Dollars per month but from the first loan my earnings increased to 250 Dollars per month and If granted a second loan by Zidisha, I will be able to purchase the refrigerator with my savings too..From the sales of the increased stock,I shall make more sales hence good profit to save and also repay the second Zidisha loan if I shall be granted .
