About Me

My name is Agnes Chilumo M'bwana, a resident of mtwapa, and a businesswoman in mtwapa too. Am an elderly mother of four children, my first child is a boy and he is thirty years old, the second is twenty eight years old, the third is twenty five years and the last is nineteen years old and he is in form three this year. Am a widow and have all responsibility of my family care.for this reason i had to turn to business for financial stability. i started a tailoring business. with this business i can now meet my family needs well. With the income i get i buy food for the family , pay rent and pay school fees.

My Business

Am a tailor by profession and this why i decided to start this business as i have enough experience. In this business i have ready customers who give me their orders.I design and sew different types of clothes, gents and ladies wears My customers are mainly the schools around here and also individuals. This is a good and well paying business and in a month i get an income of ksh 30,000 after my expenses. this this business i have risks like, late payments , this affects the running of this business as i also delay other customers due to insufficient funds. With what i get as earnings in this business i use ksh 5,000 for my family food, ksh 2,500 paying rent and ksh 4,000 paying school fees. so i save ksh 8,500 per month, which i can use to repay my loan.

With this loan i want to buy fabrics that would anable me to design clothes with the new designs that are in the market at the moment.
