I am 39 years old and a mother of 4 children, 2 daughters and 2 sons. I love my kids very much. I am married to one legal husband who is a business person and a farmer too. We are living in a remote village called Tinet and operate a small kiosk while doing farming at the same time. I started the business of selling fast moving consumer goods in my grocery kiosk 6 months ago and it has been booming. I serve many customers who comes from sorrounding neighbourhoods. When i finished 0 level certificate 19 years ago i was married and i didnt proceed with higher studies because of lack of school fees. I am determined my kids will proceed to higher level of education and to realise the dream we have to them. Though we start small i am hopeful my kids will have quality education and will live a better life tommorrow.
I am operating a grocery kiosk which i started 6 months ago in a remote village called Tinet. I sell fast moving consumer goods, households goods, groceries, green vegetables, onions, potatoes, tomatoes among other goods. I serve neighbourhoods customers and also the sorrounding community. The business has been growing and the profit increasing for the last 3 months when when my business got known and gained stability. Everyday i get a profit of not less than ksh 800 and this rise from ksh 500 in the last 3 months. The challenge i am facing is getting more funds to expqnd my business and able to meet customers expectation and demand. This demand arise due to less competitors and also i am the only one in the village selling goods and household stuffs. I am hoping to open a big shop to meet this pressure.
I first thank zidisha for allowing me to join as a member. surely appreciate the opportunity. I will use the loan to buy more household goods and also increase daily orders from my suppliies. I will buy more stocks worth ksh8000 and also save for expansion. I promise to repay in time and also in full.
