About Me

I am a determined man with big ambitions. I am from Nakuru, Mogon, in Nakuru West Constituency. I am blessed with a beautiful family with one child who has now joined nursery school. I was brought up in a Christian set-up where I have grown up as a God fearing man and I have a strong believe in the power of God. I cleared Bachelors degree from the Bugema University, Uganda. I have a degree in Education (English/Literature). At the Moment I work as a BOG Teacher in Mogon Secondary School in Nakuru town. Due to various financial challenges in life, I have opted for other sources of money to meet the ever rising cost of life. I have ventured into farming and it has really served me well. I am positive about making a breakthrough in what I do.

My Business

First of all, being a qualified teacher from Bugema University, I work as a BOG teacher in Mogon Secondary school. Due to various financial challenges in life, I have opted for other sources of money to meet the ever rising cost of life. I have ventured into farming and it has really served me well. I do poultry farming at home. I keep indigenous 100 chicken at home mainly for eggs. I get an average of 50 eggs per day. The market for these eggs is in Nakuru town where I have tenders from most of the hotels. Besides this, I also have a knack for potato farming. I have an acre of potatoes in Keringet, Kuresoi District. The revenues from farming are around Sh. 5000 and the profit is Sh. 30000. I given this opportunity, with time, I am planning to add more chickens to a maximum of 200.

Loan Proposal

Thank you ZIdisha for this opportunity to one of the members of this noble community. This is a chance for me to grow business-wise. As earlier stated I have a knack for farming and among the things I do is Poultry farming and Potato farming. As a short term goal, I am planning to use the first Zidisha Loan to buy 100 extra chickens. Through this I will have met my target number and be able to meet my market demands. I thank all the Lenders who will help me meet this target.
