About Me

I am a Kenyan male and a career businessman based in Mombasa. I begun my career as a in chicken business way back in 2015/16, where i did poultry farming. I started with 2,000 chicken and sold them out before moving into large-scale business that involved supplying food kiosks and hotels with chicken.
I later opted for second hand clothes business, this saw me import clothes from the neighboring Tanzania and finding them a ready market in Mombasa. This i did for three years before venturing into car hire business. I started thin in 2009 and have done this successfully since then, The business involves having a network of clientele who hire my car for several days and pay me certain agreeable amount, depending on the distance and time .
I still believe this business has the potential to boost my income. dream is to have a fleet of cars for hire and grow into a an empire of car hire in Mombasa. I believe Zidisha is the best option for a micro-finance loan lending because of its low interest rates which is affordable to small-income business people and at the same time I have rented a piece of land around my area were I grow tomatoes I believe with Zidisha loans. I will grow in both my business and achieve what I want in life and that is to create jobs for less fortunate in my society.

My Business

I own a car of which I hire out my car at Sh 2,500 (25$) shillings per day and on a weekly basis the car is hired out for two to three days. This earns me at least Sh5,000 (50$)to 7,500 (75$) per weekends. for now i have constant clients on every weekends i have client who takes two days every weekends which amounts to 5,000sh (50$). I do city tours with my car whenever it is not on hire i have tour company that gives me clients for tour of mombasa once per week at fee of 7000 (70$) 8hrs tour drive.
Separately, i started breading local chicken, which i found so profitable a hen sales at 700shs which is 7$. I source for them from a native village at 250shs (2.5$)and sell them in Mombasa at a profit. Hence I want to buy incubator to hatch eggs in large scale so as to bread chicken in large number. This has been the source of my family's livelihood and also do Small Scale Agriculture on a piece of land which I rented and I intend to buy the land in future through zidisha. I plant tomatoes and greens and sale them locally.
I plan to directly pump in the loan from Zidisha into both my poultry and crop production and my car hire business and a small secondhand cloths shop. I currently have an acre of tomatoes, vegetables.
Zidisha loan will help me to expand my taxi business as i plan to acquire another car once i get bigger loans in future.with Zidisha loan I currently plan to buy incubator to hatch eggs and increase to numbers of chicken I have now. Second buy two worn out tyres which with the state they are I may lose customer due to constantly punchers on tyres. I believe with this loan am going to increase both in sale and customer satisfaction.

Loan Proposal

Am hard working person I have grown from breading chickens to cloths sale to car hire and farming at the same time. I have a big plan I want to buy incubator to hatch eggs and raise the chicks and sale them later since chicken are quick sale in Kenya.hence I need 85$ for the incubator a small one at the same time the car which I use for car hire and taxies has worn out front tyres which one tyre cost 50$ each for two is 100$ so I can uplift my business, am happy Zidisha and the lenders for having helped me grow so that I also create job for others thank you Lenders and Zidisha
