About Me

My name is Alex Kinuthia Muturi,i was born at Kikuyu Village,Kiambu district(now Kiambu County).I was born in the year 1977.My parents are Mrs Jane Waithera and Mr.Justus Kinuthia.The are still living at Kikuyu village and they are practicing a livestock rearing and agricultural farming too.
I am currently living at Ligogo chonjo village together with my nuclear family.I am a permanent resident here since i have bought a piece of land and constructed a house.My nuclear family are my wife Agnes Waitherero two sons and one daughter.My wife does a small business within the village of repairing torn-out clothes using a manual sewing machine,while for me i have a small business which i have erected outside a wholesale shop in Subukia Valley center.We both work hard to make our children future to be a promising one.

My Business

After working for an employment for almost five years at the Kabazi Canners,i discovered a place along the Kabazi-Subukia highway,which was very green in terms of soft drinks refreshments business
Immediately,i went and bought 3 cartons of packed distilled water 500 milliliters and 300 milliliters.5 cartons of mixed soft drinks from Coca-cola products(plastic ones) for the customers refreshments,and 20 pieces of scones and biscuits.The day came and the business started with a good trend whereby most of my customers were the local tourists who oftenly came to visit the geographical historic sites along the Subukia Valley.In a normal day after all the day's deduction,i am left with Ksh.1,300 profit, which in a month's profit ranges to Ksh.39,000 net profit
This has gone a far mile away as i have even bought one used refrigerator to cool the drinks(sodas & water) water and also to serve more thirsty customers.I have been getting more customers each new day and it is my prayer that my business will be funded to extend it and add more canned sodas and other take-away snacks to my business.Through the Zidisha assistance,i am planning to extend my business by renting a room and equipping it with plastic chairs and plastic tables to make my customers feel better and comfortable wile taking their refreshments while touring the site.Thank you all and God bless you in advance.

Thanks you zidisha team for the loan approval.it is for real a pride to be associated with this big zidisha family.
Now with the loan,i will invest it fully into refreshments shop,esspecially for this season we are heading to.The business are busy during the inter~Counties sports challenge,to take place in the coming month.for USD.45,i will buy more soft drinks &snacks from the distributor at a wholesale price,and for USD.100,i will buy more plastic chairs and plastic rounded tables to accomodate more customers to seat on.I believe that by me doing so,my business will thrive more than today.I welcome the lenders to fund my loan.Thank you in advance and God Bless you all.
