I went to school and during weekend my parents are mere peasants and practiced mixed farming of Growing cash crops, food crops and rearing livestock.I was lucky to have studied from primary school, secondary and later taken to a technical institute where i got skills.I am trained veterinary though not employed i managed to put more effort every time i get money from contracts i invest in buying livestock back at home.I overcame an obstacle of unemployment and instead became a business person where today i sell milk,Manure and livestock for meats.
What is unique about the culture of the land i stay is that community embrace the virtue of handwork and integrity. My children would want to be educated well and be fed to grow healthy and fit i the society.
My unique hobby that i have i need to call for social reconciliation and tolerance among the youths.I love doing the social work for the community well being.
Thank you
In the last 6 years now i have so far managed to have four cows a number of goats and sheep.I largely sell and provide milk to the nearby town and hotels,i occasional offer livestock for meats especially goats and sheep,i also provide manure to the neighbors garden at an affordable price.
My biggest challenge is how i can build a modern and good cow shed to even accommodate sheep and goats. All these products are on demand because most people use drink tea with milk in most time of the day thus making hotels demand for my supply of milk.Meat on the other side was highly on demand especially in the just concluded Christmas holidays where people slaughter goats and sheep. The manure helps crops to grow and saves on buying fertilizer which is a bit expensive. My typical cost are mainly on food and drugs, buying of nappier glass and paying the casual laborer. Most of my profit goes towards meeting these expenses as well as paying school fees for my brother and sisters.I also use other money in reinvesting and meeting my expenses.I offer some to the unfortunate in the local children home.
Thank you.
Hello my great lenders, i want to thank you again for funding my project.
Once I get my next loan from you lenders will straight away meet the comfort of my livestock by building a new modern Cow shed. I will buy 18 iron sheets all at a cost of $115.00.
I will buy 10Kg of nails, various inches at a cost of $18.00.
In addition will also buy 3 bags of cement at $15.00, ballast coat $12.00 & sand at $5.00 respectively. I will also buy different sizes and inches of wood at a cost of $30.00
This will change even on the outcome of the products hygiene. The new cow shed will reduce infection brought by dirty condition where cows sleep.
This will reduce the chances of contaminating the milk and the cows will to eat clean food and sleep comfortably.
Efficiency is also an opportunity coming with the advantage of my next loan; the worker will no longer be moving cattle to a different cleaner location for milking therefore saving time.
I expect the income to shoot with the new loans from the current USD250.00 to 350.00 per month.
This will be a wonderful improvement and a business to boast about.
Thank you.
