Dansoa Stella is my name from Kwadaso in Ashanti region of Ghana. I was able to complete J.H.S and due to financial difficulty I was not able to continue my education. I used to help my mother in the market and for that matter my mother teach me how to trade. When I was 22years of age, my mother fall stick and things became very hard for my sisters and I, so I decided to trade on behave of my mother and the profit I make was used to take care of my mother and my sisters. I got marriage and my husband supported me with a capital of 500ghs of which I was able to grow my capital to 1000ghs and my husband supported me to buy our land from the profit I make from the trade.
I sell food staffs at kwadaso market and some of the food staffs I sell are cassava, yam and plantain. I usually go to the village and buy my food staffs. The price of food staffs in the village are very low of which I buy and sell it in the city to make profit. without food human begins can not live and this made me choose to sell food staffs. I started this business with 500ghs and when I started the business, I was able to make a total sales of 800ghs every three days but any time I increase my capital I would see that my profit has also increase. I use my profit to support my family and also give help to the needy when the needs arise.
I will buy food stuffs for resale with the loan and it help my business to grow to increase my profit and also help my customers to get all the food stuffs they want when they come to my joint.
People eat everyday so selling food stuffs is lucrative and difficult to run at loss but in case of any risk I will repay with profit from my other business.
