My childhood education can be traced way back to the 80s when i was born in a small village in Bomet County. I grew and learnt there. I was a pupil at Kapcholyo Primary school and enrolled at Kaplong boys high school, after finishing secondary school, i passed and secured a place for higher learning at the Jomo Kenyatta University in Nairobi, I got a chance to take a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. I took the course for a period of four years managed to pass well and graduated.
Back at home i had started a small business of selling milk to the local around, i owned a cow that i bought when i was still in secondary school, it was young then but i took care of it and now its producing milk. I opened a small shop in town where i sale the milk that i get feom the cow. The business has been supporting myself as well as my mother back at home.
What is unique at our home land is the resource that is available. The soil at home is perfect for farming it supports different kinds of farming and for my case the dairy business is quit well supported.
I explore new things, business idea when i am free. I cal that my hobby.
I engage myself in two different kinds of business, professionally i am a teacher at Kinoo High School teaching students chemistry and mathematics, on the other hand, i am a farmer back at home engaged in the selling of milk. I have a freshean cow that producea 15 litters of milk every day. I sale the milk at my shop in town. In my absence the business is runned by a relative that i have employed. I chose to do this business because in our homeland, milk is like gold, it is highly valued and for that reason engaging in this business could help me make money.
I use the profits that i generate from the business to support my family, my two kids in school, my mother at home and also sustain the growth and development of my dairy business.
I will use the loan ones i get it to buy a motorcycle that will assist in the ferrying of the milk from my farm to town where my shop is located. The loan will help me buy the motorcycle that goes for 60 Us dollars.
I will benefit from buying the motorcycle because it will ease the movements of my milk from the farm to my business center. My profits will also significantly increase because the milk will be getting to the place of selling on time. This will help ensure that my customer are served on time.
