About Me
My name is Jane kuria. I am a mother of two boys named David and Andrew. They are aged 7 and 5 years old respectively. I live in Nyeri county in the middle of Kenya. It is at the slopes of Mt. Kenya. The main economic activity here is farming. There is tea and coffee cash crops too. I come from a family of ten. Parents, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
My Business
I own a small pub in Karatina in Nyeri town. It is a rural part of the country and the pub does not make much as farmers are busy people. It is a place for farmers to relax after work. Revenue is about US 400 dollars every month. I am also assisting my mother in farming as she is not able now at her age.
Loan Proposal
Dear Lenders,
I am seeking this loan to fund an organic farming project that I intend to do and take advantage of the post rainy season harvest when there is low supply and high demand.
I am seeking $500 that I will use as follows:

$100 Manure
$150 Sprinklers and Pipes
$100 Miscellenous
After the project, I will make an overall profit of about $600 that I will use to pay fees for my kids in term 3 and supporting my aging mother.
