I got exposed to hard work from early age. Used to walk long distance to and from school in high school I missed the entire 1st term due to lack of school fees. After college got a job but the pay wasn't sufficient to cater for my basic needs especially after i got a family hence more responsibilities. So from my mum's motivation i decided to venture in to business . The biggest challenge was to get rise capital . I started small . I count myself lucky for discovering Zidisha for this far I have come. I have grown from the polythene bags business to opening a cosmetic shop. This is a great achievement so far . I thank God and Zidisha for this.
I buy and sell polythen bags. They are important since they are used by green grocers and shop owners to park their goods . Buy supplying them I save them the hustle of going far to buy.I chose this kind of business since very few are selling the same and the goods i deal with aren't perishable. I incur costs like transport, rent.I use the profits for reinvestment and providing basic needs to my family.
I have managed to open a cosmetic shop which I am looking forward to expand . My Cosmetic shop is doing well and I have managed to start selling send hand clothes too.
I will add the loan amount to my cash in hand and buy more polythen bags for resale. This will boost my profit marginThe amount i had in had isn't enough to buy all the stock I needed so if I get the loan will at least buy more stock. I will buy V15 polythen bags which goes for ksh 55 per packet and resale at kshs 70. I will make a net profit of ish 200. The profit earned from this will enable me offset my electricity and water bills.
