About Me

I am Evans omeno from Nakuru, kenya. Where I was born and brought up before seeking greener pastures in a nearby town after completing my education.
I went to a nearby local primary school were I did my primary education, I joined secondary school passed well and joined Nairobi university where I pursued a degree in human resource.
My parents used to practice both crop and livestock farming.
Later on in life after trying to secure a job in vain, I decided to follow their footsteps out of passion for farming and to keep busy, i later on ventured into farming professionally and as a way to earn a decent living.

My Business

I keep dairy cows for milk, keep poultry birds for eggs and meat and also plant beans and maize crop for feeds and to sell as a way to generate income and also reduce cost of feeds for my domestic animals.
I sell chicks to local farmers and earn a decent income which I use to invest back in the business and cater for family upkeep.

Project Proposal

Hello zidisha members,
The loan granted will help me buy chicken mash for chicken feeds and supplements to help boost egg production.
With the feeds I will maintain my production hence make profit.
