About Me

I was born on 26th April 1969, I am the oldest of five boys. I grew up near Kalukanya boarding school of Mufulira township in an area now known as Kakoyo Kawama.

During my teen years, we lived on a farm where I enjoyed caring for animals and I serious considered becoming a farmer. From my childhood onwards, I took a stand for Jehovah. For example, once when I was 8 my father opposed the Truth and didn't allow me to study or tell us to congregate meetings.

I still wonderd what to do after I graduated from high school. Although I shared in the field service every weekend, I didn't enjoy the ministry and couldn't see myself as a pioneer.

Meanwhile, my unbelieving father and uncle Bupe where encouraging me to work full time for a certain leading insurance company, In Ndola and my uncle had a position prominent there so I accepted the Job.

As time goes by I developed interest in catering because even at my secondary school I use to study food nutrition and home economics so decided to pursue food production and it wasn't easy for me because on the other side I was working then at the same time going to a catering school, but thank God I completed my course with flying colors.

My Business

I am a chef by professional who owns a restaurant, I supply good services to the people. I bake birthday cakes, printed ones and orginally ones. My restaurant also provide and supply the following kinds of food to variety of different customers:

Nshima, Kapeta, Chicken, Meat, Poke, Vegetables, Drinks, Fish etc we also make meat pies, wedding cakes, cream Donalds and scones.

In future I want to extend my restaurant and give opportunity to qualified workers with the following contractor who is agreeable to providing such services to the customer on the following terms and conditions set out in this agreement:

SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED
Managing all food stock and other requirements.
Cooking adequate meals for the executives and LK mine sites.
Keeping a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen, maintaining cleanliness at all times.
Ensuring that all food and other iterms are stored properly.
Checking quality of ingredients.
Reporting all breakages to store for immediate replacement.
Making sure that proper Chef Atire is won all the times, Hairnet, Apron etc

Project Proposal

Looking at my first credit limit, I am here by applying for a loan with a plan of purchasing a generator. Here in Zambia there is load shedding going on so we find it difficult to cater a huge number of customers because we use electrified equipments meaning if they is no power it means no holders will be taken from the kitchen, moreso I have come to a releasation that buying a generator will definitely help me and make it easier for my business to be operating as usual.
