About Me

Careen Masumba is my name. Am Zambian and I come from the royal family, North Western Province of Zambia. Am a family woman with 2 children at my disposal. I completed my secondary school and I went to Mulungushi University and am privilaged to announced that I hold a bachelors degree in Business Administration.
Am currently working on part time basis with one of the reputable organization in Zambia. In addition to that I ran my own small business which I want to improve by investing more sources for the business grow and expand. I have young siblings which I sponsor at school hence I want to increase my income generation so that it is sustainable. Am looking forward to be part of the Zidisha family and test the experience.

My Business

My source of income is from my grocery retail shop were I generate good income very daily. I also have a part time job at the moment were I earn an income monthly. My business is a fast consumable goods FMCG, I sale daily and I generate profits every day. My shop is small and the grocery goods finish very fast because the goods I sale are daily essentials and are consumed every day. At the moment the cost of running my is at ZMW 30,000.00, I need additional working capital to restock up the shop with more grocery goods due to high demand. once I inject more capital my weekly turn over will be great. Grocery retail shop requires enough capital because goods run out very fast and needs to be restocked up for the business to sustain itself.

Project Proposal

With this loan am applying for I need to purchase the refrigeration in my retail shop to be preserving food staffs. I want to start restocking dressed chickens, sausages, meat, soft drinks, fresh milk, sour and fish. I have been losing business because of lacking the refrigeration to stock up fresh food in my shop. Once this is sorted out I will more sales as there is very good demand of fresh food staffs.
