Am a single mother of one biological daughter who is four years old and one adopted daughter who is ten years old.
Am an insurer by proffesion, currently working for Phoenix of Zambia Assurance here in Ndola.
I finished high in 2004 at Kansenshi High School in Ndola, later studied Association Of Business Executives (ABE) at SIATEBE College in Ndola in which am holding a certificate and am currently pursuing a certificate in Insurance. At the same time, I am also re-sitting for my high school certificate in July this year for I did not perform well in some of the subjects.
My mother passed on June 2014 and my dad is well and am staying with him,he retired in 2013 and he is yet to get his benefits from the government .I am taking care of my three siblings, the third, fourth and fifth born. The second born is an engineer, married and resides in Lusaka.
I am a very ambitious and business minded lady, i put my all in everything and I don't easily quit. In my free time, I read motivational books and other books, am very active in the gym and jog in the evenings four times a week.
My business is mainly second hand clothing, beddings, curtains, school bags, hand bags and rugs.
I target mostly the under privileged to who I either give on credit or on cash basis on my stand which is just located near the station in Ndola town center.
My capital was from my salary, I chose this kind of business because I had work around my capital and so far its going well than my expectations.
I don't have much expenses, its just transport to and from Lusaka where I buy the bales from and to pay my employee. I have only employed one person to help and am working and I take over during the weekend.
From the profits I get,i have started saving and part of it usually goes to paying school fees and the up keep at home.
With your loan, am confidence I will be able to improve my business and grow till to the point of my high profiled business I have always worked towards. And be ready as my kids will be graduating from high school.
With this loan I will buy three bales, this time am buying from Tanzania/Zambia border. And continue selling on cash basis to individuals. If all goes well I can even travel back by end of September for another consignment.
