About Me

I am a mother of five children all of whom are school going and dependent on my daily hustles. At the age 6 years I became a total orphan under the care my grandmother who then was just a subsistence famer. Due to her financial status she could not afford to pay my secondary school fees. The only option I had was to train as a hairdresser under guidance from my late mother's friend who offered to do no charge. Since then I have run this business in different locations and has helped me a lot in terms of providing for my family's needs and settling bills. My third borns performance at school is exemplary well and he dreams of becoming a doctor. If supported with this funds my business earnings will increase therefore fee arrears will not be an issue anymore as I will be able to settle the fees on time.

My Business

I am a hairdresser with a small hair dressing shop that is performing very well. My good work and better services has attracted many customers not only from within but also from far distances thanks to online marketing. I am seeking funds to help me introduce stocks of cosmetic products which at the moment I buy from other shops upon customer requests. My aim is to offer my services and have these products under the same roof so that I can operate my business without inconveniencing customers. In return I will not only get my income from services only but also from the sales of these products.

Project Proposal

I shall purchase and make available cosmetics in my salon. This idea is important to me because I intend to increase my earnings not only from hairdressing services but also from selling allied products to my customers. Through better income my family will be able to receive adequate support from my daily efforts. This boost will also ensure that I initiate and push forward my dream projects such as purchasing land and building my dream house.
