I am called Edwin KIpkosgei Some amd i live in Uasin Gishu county with my parents, a village called Maili Nne. I am a first born son of five family members. My parents are peasant farmers and they grow subsistence and cash ( tea) crops and rear cattle. I am a fourth year student at Kisii University campus and studying commerce and accounting. I am aspiring to run my own company in near future probably after my graduation which is set to happen in the month of May this year. I have started a small business which is growing and soon it will expand to more branches. I am determined to add value to our country's economy by paying taxes and employing more youths to business to curb unemployment rate.
I have a cafeteria which i started 6 months ago in a small town called Maili Nne in our home village in Uasin- Gishu conty. This business idea came when i read and learn that we lacked restaurants in our area and and its environ. I decided to start small by opening a small cafeteria which is manageable and requires small initial capital. The business has grown spontaneously in the last one month and i am planning to extend it and open two more branches in order to accommodate customers demand. The business has been generating not less than ksh 40000 per month as a net income. This is a big improvement as compared to first days during its initiation. I have five empoyees who are helping me run the business. The competition has been minimal since in the place i am operating business there is no other competing partner. However, i am set to open branch in a place where there is more competing businesses. The problem i am facing is lack of enough funds to run and maintain this expansion.
I will use the loan i am requesting from you to expand my business and also buy more stocks. I am determined by the end of loan repayment, the next loan will come to open another branch of my business as a way to achieving my entrepreneurial dreams. I will buy cafeteria stocks and strive to meet customers demand by preparing meals and drinks which are being needed by customers. I welcome your support in terms of funds o be able to achieve this. Thank you.
