My name is Linet Achola Ndeda. I am married and I am a mother of 5, 1 son and 4 daughters.
I have 2 of my children in college, 1 is waiting to join college in September and the remaining 2 are in high school. My first born is in 2nd year at university while the last born is in Form 2.
I operate a grocery shop, selling general shop items including foodstuffs such as bread, milk, sugar, flour etc.
I also operate Mpesa (Mobile money transfer). I am an Mpesa agent.
I also sale vegetables on the verandah of my shop.
I deal in tomatoes, onions, cabbages and irish potatoes.
I will purchase two crates of tomatoes for sale. I project to be selling at least two crates of tomatoes each market day.
There are 2 market days per week: Thursdays and Sundays.
Any unsold stock will be stored and displayed on the verandah of my kiosk thus targeting customers who make purchases in my shop and other shops.
Tomatoes are on very high demand in this area since they are used as spices.
Apart from household clients, I also target institutions/school around which offer a ready market especially when it involves preparation of lunch for staff members.
