About Me

Hello, My name is Douglas Murimi Kimathi. An ethusiastic and passionate computer science graduate from Egerton University.

Life hasn't been simple to me. It has been a challenge since I was young. My dad was a watchman and mom was a house maid. You can imagine all the struggles they faced to cater for our education from primary to campus. I'm really proud of them and I want to make them happy in their old age through working hard.

Born in a family of 6, I started schooling at the age of 7 at a local government school where I attained 343 marks. I later joined a provincial government school for 4 years and attained a grade A minus.
I was enrolled at Egerton university in Nakuru to pursue a degree in Computer Science with only on goal; to make my parents proud and provide a better life for them. I graduated with an Second class Honors-upper division being one of the shining graduates that year.
After graduation, I applied for many jobs, some I could get interviewed but no reply afterwards. I was really frustrated. Then an idea came up. Why not start my own business? so many prior challenges for just a graduate with no cash or sponsor or anything. Then my mind convinced me to start something small and then an idea of owning my own cyber cafe came up. Fortunately, I found a room strategically situated in the same building that houses a college called Galilee, Kenya revenue authority as well as as the The National transport and safety Authority.

People from Meru really love genuine men and women. I worked not necessarily for money but help those around my locality with what they couldn't handle. Within two years I had so many customers calling and requesting my assistance from all over town. I was happy and started providing for my parents. They were happy too. Since I don't have a wife or kids right now, my priority is my parents. They are growing old, and I have to toil everyday knowing that a day that makes my parents happy, is a day worthy living.

During my free time, I like visiting children's home because I know I can touch their hearts through kindness. We normally do this as a group once in month in almost every part of Meru. I love helping because it makes me happy more than the person I'm helping.

My Business

I own a cyber Cafe in Meru CBD. I process all government online applications including license renewal, kra pins, company registration, passports application etc.

      Douglas,

Lenders do not control when or whether any borrower
can create a new loan proposal, or what the credit limit
would be. Lenders also do not expire loan requests.
That's all determined by algorithms programmed into
the system by the Staff: www.zidisha.org/team

      Please also be aware:

Lenders cannot help you with anything technical or administrative.
Therefore, this isn't the correct place to try to reach the Staff.

      Thanks, and best wishes.

I had a chat with to Douglas and he promised to pay back tomorrow. the delay of payment was due to low speeds of the zidisha app he was using so he was not able to access his account. here is the screen shot of his promise
