I was born and raised in a village in Western Kenya. i was left under the care of my grandparents as my father a clerk in the civil service was away working.
Due to constant job transfers, we could not afford to stay together with him as family.
As the first born,i now find myself taking over the responsiblity of raising my siblings,
the youngest being only 10 years.
i have ventured into selling dresses together with my wife to supplement our income.
i have sisters in college and the others in primary school that look upto me for support.
I wish to expand the business by having a rented shop for the wares to be displayed.
currently we are selling the items online via a website called "soko kuu'.
I intend to use the zidisha loan to add my stock for the business. currently I am lacking enough money to purchase the items from China. After sometime, I also wish to open a shop and diversify the business more in order to help my siblings.
