I was born and raised in a village in Western Kenya. i was left under the care of my grandparents as my father a clerk in the civil service was away working.
Due to constant job transfers, we could not afford to stay together with him as family.
As the first born,i now find myself taking over the responsiblity of raising my siblings,
the youngest being only 10 years.
i have ventured into selling dresses together with my wife to supplement our income.
i have sisters in college and the others in primary school that look upto me for support.
I wish to expand the business by having a rented shop for the wares to be displayed.
currently we are selling the items online via a website called "soko kuu'.
Once recieved, the loan will enable me acquire new items to sell.
Schools are almost closing here in kenya, kids clothing will be a new
item on what i am currently selling.
The loan which will be about $332 will be used to purchase children
clothing amounting to $200 since this is a new purchase. the $132 shall
be for stock increment on the ladies' items that am already selling.
