I am a hardworking businesswoman, second born in a family of six children. My mother passed away in 2012 and left us with father only. My mother too was a hardworking woman who brought us up in Christianity and taught us farming among other activities around. After completing my form 4 education, I was employed in Miti mingi Primary School where i taught lower classes. Besides helping my father raise my younger siblings, I also managed to save some money which I used to start a business of buying and selling maize and beans. later, I was able to start a small retail shop with the support from my father and some savings of Kshs. 36000 in January last year 2013. It has picked up slowly due to both family support and small stock. but it is growing. during my free time, i like walking to see nature and to read inspirational books.
my business involves buying and selling retail products such as sugar, rice, floor, cooking fat, tea leaves, and other basic household items. Due to the fact that the money I get from the business I reinvest in newer products or items, it is difficult to determine net profit per time. However, I started with capital of 48000 and I have lately calculated stock value which is about 105000. Therefore, my business is growing and I can confidently say that. A loan would help me further because I will be able to bring more amounts per items for sale which will definitely lead to customer trust. I can confidently say that I will be able to repay any loan I may be given by Zidisha.
hi zidisha. thank you so much for you kind support that has boosted my business at a high rate. i do make this proposal of 39,140 kes as i want to add 00kilograms of wheat flour in my shop since it is in great demand as there is less maize in the location. this will cost me 25,000kes. i will also add 100kg of sugar which will cost me 10,000kes and other such as match boxes, tealeaves, salt, candles and breads at a cost of 4,140kes. i request zidisha lenders to support me in making this purchase for my profit to increase. kind regards. stacy
