i was born in a family of six being the second born after my elder sister who got married.i schooled at chumani secondary and currently a fourth year in mount kenya university undertaking a bachelors degree in teaching, being a school based program.. started my business as a hobie ond interest in reading, i mainly offer library services and also tuition services. this is not only in profit making but the motive to improve the education level in the community. lend books in weekly basis and also offer evining and weekend tuition at a considerable fee. this has help many students who had no hopes in passing exams
my major source of income is from my salary as a teacher,in my business i mainly deal with library and tuition services, where i employed a teacher who offers the services.i mainly buy text books and some stationery to facilitate the services. many people come to my business premises because its one of its own in the locality hence i enjoy monopoly.there no many risks apart from harmful insects which destroy books, this is because i mostly deal with service delivery .montly income amount to;ksh.35000/=,expenses ksh.20000/=, profitksh.15000/=
i will use all the first loan from zidisha to buy shelf to store my books in my library . this will help to stop destruction by harmful insects and also easy access of books. i hope this will give good image of my library and attract more customers. this will be amounting to ksh3000/=.. this is because i only have one shelf and the rest of the books are stored in boxes where its easy to be destroyed by termites and very difficult to find a boook
