I am Benjamin Frimpong,a 3rd year.University student.I am from a family of Six.I appreciate the financial support of my family throughout my schooling.I grew in Sunyani but currently schooling in Accra. I am in partnership with a cousin of mine in mushroom cultivation to generate some funds to augment the effort of my parent through my education.I started my business less than a year ago back home in the care of my cousin but I occasinally go home to check to get equipments and take inventory
I am into mushroom cultivation.I became interested in this business as I helped my uncle to sell his mushroom to markets nearby I gained the experience and realised it requires a token to begins with. All I needed was a training on how to nurse it but with experience I have acquired I am good to go.Mushroom is a delicacy for most people and it is healthy. After production we take our product to the nearby markets to sell and sometime people come to buy to prepare food for "chop bars".Its been less than a year year but we are gradually making progress in business
I started this business with my uncle like a year ago and so far so good.Demand for the product is increasing and we would need some funds to expand and also increase production to meet customer needs. When my loan is funded I would use 24 USD to buy the seedlings,12 USD for the sawdust in the nursery.8USDto buy rubbers to keeping the sawdust for nursing and12 USD for rubbers for packaging harvested mushrooms to transport to market centres.I would the rest of the money left to support my current returns I make from sales to pay labourers and other inventories.
