am a widow with 4 children who are all schooling. i live in kiptagwanyi center 42 kilometer from nakuru. i live in my shamba plot no 456 . i started this business about 4 year ago when my husband pass away and i didn't know what to do to cater for my family need .it is a good business because the money i get i pay my children school fees and family food and the lest i save for my kid secondary school
my business entail in poultry rearing like broiler and layers .the business is marketable and the demand of my product like egg is in a high demand within this area the money i get after selling my chicken it about 50,000 after deducting the cost of 1000 bloirers .the money i used to buy another chich , i used about 35,000 and after the poultry became ready for market which is 6 week.. the main challenge is luck of adequate finance and high price of chicken mash that i use for my poultry .high price of commodity that is usually accelerated by drought
dear lenders i want to add more broilers in my poultry business because we are approaching festive season and many people prefer to eat chicken, last week i sold my whole stock and the money i get made me think that if i can be funded quicker i will add the money to the one i have so that i can buy about 500 broilers which grow in 6 week so by December i will have something more to sell and get better profit.at that time the business became very profitable because of demand of this product.
