I am a laboratory technologist by profession and a member of the Mensah Family in Nungua, Accra. I love to see the people in my community always satisfied with their daily needs. This passion finally led me into opening a whole sale shop in the Nungua Market where I sell to retailers. I sell goods like disposable cups, spoons, and plates, excercise books, bags of sugar, bags of rice, Biscuiits, Batteries, Torchlights, Soft drinks, Toilet rolls, and shoe polishes just to mention a few. This has also reduced the stress of having to travel all the way to Accra Market to purchase goods and I am always happy when I see smiles on the faces of the people in my community when I am able to provide what they want.

The demands of my community has now become very high because of the approaching ocassion which is the Easter celebrations. Most churches in Ghana hold conventions, because of this demands of provisions in my shop has now become very high. I have also introduced some electricity saving devices and fuel saving devices for generators and vehicles and the demand of these devices have also shot up. I am into wholesale of these devices. The power outages in Ghana has become high and this has brought a high demand on the fuel saving devices. The wholesale price of two different the fuel saving devices I sell is GHC60 and GHC320 each. Whenever my customers don't get all they want from my shop, they get really dissapointed because they will have to travel all the way to Accra and spend more money on transportation before getting what they want. Also it is very stressful to them because in Accra most of the shops deal in single products so that people will have to visit lots of shops in order to get all that they want.

I have also introduced fuel saving devices for generators and vehicles and the demand of these devices have also shot up because power outages in Ghana has become high causing most business owners to fall on generators and plants for their daily work: this devices are also rare on the Accra market and this has brought a high demand on the fuel saving devices. People from the neighbouring towns like Teshie, Labadi, Osu, Tema, and Ashaiman purchase these devices from my shop for their generators and cars. This device also enhances the performance of the car engines as well. The wholesale prices of the two different fuel saving devices I sell are $16 and $85 each. I need about$1500 more to be able to expand my shop and get more provisions as well as the fuel saving devices so that I will be able to satisfy my community and my customers. Whenever my customers are satisfied it makes them happy and this brings great joy to me. I know that by the help of Zidisha and the lenders I will be able to get more stock and make my community happy. Thank you
