I am the second born in a family of six,my parents and three brothers.
I started my business through a loan i secured from Savings Chama i formed with my friends.
My first attempt at business did not go so well,i overpriced the services and lost customers but i later was able to moderate the prices and was able to get my customers back.
My culture has a diverse vast of foods and the land is very fertile too for agricultural uses.
I love trying out new recipes and reading.
I operate a small cafeteria shop in a building that houses offices.I serve snacks and beverages like Mandazi,Chapatis,Sausages,Chips, tea and sodas.
These helps the employees working in the building to save on time from going to get food from longer distances.
I opened the cafeteria since i love cooking.
On a good day i am able to make Kshs 1000 on a daily basis as profit and around Ksh 30,000 monthly.
I am still pursuing my Advanced diploma in Tours & Travel and i use the profits to pay for this course.
With 20 dollars i intend to buy more baking flour for making mandazis, cakes and cooking oil,21 dollars for more plates and cups, the rest will be put aside for emergency uses.
This will help produce more snacks and save time for my clients who have to wait on more snacks to be made.
I hope to increase my profit from 1000 to 1500 KES on a daily basis.
