Am a family man a father of three children james ngugi james nganga patrick njoroge. I have attained education up to form four. Having completed education i felt the need to start my own business to alleviate poverty in my village. I am patient, active and hardworking. I also works on my farm i and my wife and also labor some more workers on my firm in order to get more products. for this reason, if i get some more money from zidisha i will be able to expand my business and also get more land for cultivation.
I live in mugaa village where i run a retail shop selling such things as sugar, rice, tea leaves ,cooking fat, salt and also dry grains for human consumption. i have been in this business for six years. my main customers are the villagers and the teachers in the neighbouring schools. the schools also buy some of the commodities from me. i have benefited from a loan of ksh.60,000 by faulu kenya in november 2009. i have paid ksh. 50,000 and intend to clear the balance by the end of this month. I will use the loan by expanding my textile business thus buying skirt suit from Nairobi and taking them to Western markets such as Eldoret, Kitare and Nbungoma. This will cost me Ksh 100000 where by one skirt suit costs ksh 1300 buying price selling at ksh 2000 and above according to the market price. The rest ksh 50000 will be used by adding stock for the Hotel that i started at Nakuru 15km from town.I will buy goods like wheat flour which will cost me ksh 20000, 5bags of beans at ksh 5000 per bag thus costing ksh 25000 while the rest i will buy goods like potatos, sugar, Tea leaves, and other miner goods that are used in Hotels.
