My name is Ekira Wairimu Thiong’o I live in Bahati in Nakuru. Ihave 8 children all are grown ups and they have finished school. I was born in muranga county in place called kiarutara. i went to a school called kiarutara primary school i went gatura secondary school. then after school i got married when i started farming business with my husband at nakuru kamiruri. later on started shop in my home which iam operating up to date. i had to work hard to raise money to start a shop because by then farming was not upgraded so i was getting small income. in the place where i live we are different communities(tributes) and we live peaceful.
I have a business of a shop in my plot where I live I sell different types of goods so it is a general shop where you buy almost everything that is needed in a house. This gives me an opportunity to serve many customers and so a good returns. I am able to do others cores in the home while still operating the shop so, like now I am able to keep another business of poultry layers chickens and also I am able to manage my farm and my cows. All this businesses give me an income of about 800000. This is the money which I use to feed my family and pay my monthly bills. i use my profit for home improvements , reinvestment in growing the business and others.
i would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to God and also to thank Zidisha team for the good work you are doing of lending people loan. For me i would say that i have benefited very much from this scheme, it has uplifted the standard of my family through the profit i have been getting from the business i have been doing with the money that you have lend to me twice. I am looking forward to put into good use the third loan and trust God will bless the work of my hand. Thank you very much.
