I was born in a small village interior of Western Kenya near Kakamega Forest. I went to a rural school known as Shanderema primary school. I was born out of wedlock and so was forced to stay with my grandmother. Having a stepmother who never welcomed me to her house so my struggle with was with my grandmother. my grandmother couldn't even raise money to buy a school uniform which i always had a torn patched short. Most times i could even miss school because lack of food. I never gave up and would always work hard and having brought up by a prayerful grandmother i used to pray that one day things would be better that i would be able to hep my grandmother. Despite financial constrains i managed to join secondary school just a neighboring one called Shanderema Boys school. I was a dayscolar. I thank God because He sent me well wishers and i performed well and later joined a computer college as i wait to join a teachers training college. My interest is to see my life change and be able to support my grandmother.
I was doing my computers while working on somebody's farm as a foreman. I was able to raise some cash and luckily somebody was closing up his business so i managed to acquire his photocopying machine at a fair price. I later got a small room at our shopping center and started offering photocopying services. The challenging part now is servicing the machine to put it in a good condition. Currently am only doing photocopying but being the only place offering this services people are also asking for passport photos so i need to get a camera and a coloured printer. I have not stayed long in this business its just picking but very positive it will.
Due to high demand of my customers i would like to service the photocopying machine and buy a camera and a coloured printer. The person who is to do the service is charging me 15 US dollars then a nice camera will cost me 50 US dollars and a coloured printer will be 35 US dollars. Once i get this items my profit will raise by 60 US dollars a month having minus all the other expenses. At least with this profits i will be able to save and use it to join the teachers training college. Am very very thankful for the Zidisha fraternity. Thanking you my lenders in advance. This loan will be of great help.
