My name is carolyne wanjiku .Born and raised in kiambu county .i moved to Nakuru for my high school studies.i join KIM for business studied and completed in 2016.i started working as a Secretary in a law firm in Nakuru .My family also moved to Nakuru last year when they bought a land at kiamunyi and settled there .Am a business oriented women and my passion is in business,i have worked hard to start a business in Nakuru. last year i met Mr Maisy who had started a cosmetic supply in Nakuru and he tried to explain to me the way zidisha has helped him financially. At that time i was not ready to join since i didnt trust him ,but by watching his business grow i have decided to join him.i started my small business because of the passion and desire to be my own employee.
Currently i am supplying all kind of women beauty products eg lotions, creams ,reckless earings, chains human hair etc. this goods are in a very high demand not only in Nakuru but everywhere in this country. Also the availability of the goods is guaranteed since one does not need to travel outside the country to get them.i choose this kind of business because i can operate it online as well as in my shop.beauty products they vary in cost depending with the type of clients you are dealing with and their social class.it costs around USD 1000 to start the business.the profit gained from the business is mostly reinvested back because the business is still at the initial stage of growth.more capital is needed currently to enable the business to break-even
I intend to purchase new beauty products like perfumes, creams and many variety of lotions. Currently my business is doing well and am planning to increase the capital.
