I grew up in Kapsabet town life was not very easy as my parents were casual labourers and struggled hard to make ends meet. All the same they were able to educate me to form four level, after which i started looking for jobs to do to fund my own college education. I was able to go through college where i studied business management. with this i started working on my talent and passion which have seen me grow through the years. atleast am able to provide the basic needs for my dependants. my biggest dream is to make more handbags and become a big supplier in the big retail shops in my country.
I neat the handbags myself with a team of three more people who assist from time to time. I started this business two and a half years back after realizing how well these handbags can do in the market. My dream is grow big enough to be able to comfortably take care of my dependants and also continue assisting others in my community who would like to venture in the same industry. my customers are mostly ladies. My greatest challenge has been in production due to limited resources In a good month i make profits of between $100 - $150 which i use to reinvest and expand my business by busying more materials, and the rest i use for the upkeep of my family
I will use the loan to purchase 60 meters of different colors of material for my business. One meter costs Ksh.500 which will enable me to produce more handbags and meet my customers demand hence making more money to meet my bills and also repay the loan in good time
