I'm highly grateful to all lenders who came to help fund my loan even at the time that all hopes were almost ended, I say may God richly bless you. This funded loan will help me purchase the exact number of plates and cutlery sets to supply to the senior high schools that has requested me to get for them for their first year students. I will also use part to stock my shop with some plates and cutlery sets, as well as plastic containers for storing water at home. The profit I will make from this loan will enable me to pay for my younger brother's exams fee this semester when the time is due and also buy some birthday present for my cousin on his coming birthday. To all my lenders once again, I'm grateful and I promise to never disappoint you with my repayment for this honour done me.

Big thanks to all my lenders and the Zidisha community for the financial support given to me. I will use the loan to import ten (30) pen drives valued at $73 from China through aliexpress.com, one of the world's most reliable online business platforms. The remaining amount of $8 will be used to pay the import duties and other charges at the post office when the items arrive because they will be deliver via the post office system in order for it to get to my district after arriving at the shores of the country. When the goods arrive, the sale of it will assist me to get money and repay my loan as well as improving my family's standard of living. It will also enable me to do some little savings towards my tertiary education because it is my dream to become a teacher by profession to enable me impart the knowledge and skills gotten onto the younger generation to come and to be a renowned flourishing entrepreneur known for importation of storage device and other mobiles devices within Zebilla in the Bawku West District of Upper East Region of Ghana and its neighbourhood. The expansion of the business will also lead to creation of job opportunities for others who will subsequently come and take from me to retail. Once again, thank you my lenders and the Zidisha community.

Hi Johnbosco, I am very happy to lend to a green business distributing solar in Africa - this is the way of the future, I feel. :-) It is good to see you are selling more efficient stoves too, to reduce the problems of deforestation. Did you know there are two techniques which can improve cooking efficiency even further? 1) Fireless cooking uses about half as much fuel as normal, by making use of insulation to retain the heat. People heat the food in the normal way, and when it is hot, the pot is put in an insulated container, where it will continue cooking without needing any more heat. It can be made from scrap materials. Here's a link about it: http://www.mueller-solartechnik.com/EN_fireless.pdf 2) When it is sunny it is also possible to cook with no fuel at all! See my picture for an example of a solar cooker. Solar cookers use mirrors to cook with sunshine by concentrating it. If you imagine putting a black pot in the sun, it will heat up. Now imagine shining mirrors at it, so that it gets more sunshine - it isn't difficult to make it hot enough to cook with! There are many types - both homemade and bought. Search for the 'Solar Cookers International Network' website for more info. Good luck with your endeavours.

Hi lenders and thanks once again for your financial help. I am happy to report I have managed to get the boy shirts inventory and Music licence for my business. Acquiring the music licence costed about 40 dollars including transportation costs. I am glad finally I can play music which will improve the business atmosphere. I got 50 pcs of the boy inventory shirts that costed 100 dollars, I opted to purchase two boy mannequins because this was a new product I was introducing and it was best I display strategically. The two costed me 20 dollars including miscellaneous costs incurred. I had a challenge in getting a licencing officer to come inspect my business premises but finally they came and I was given the quote and instructions on how to apply online. I have been unable to do it online and after consulting they are to process it for me which should take another 7-10 days. I will keep you updated on the progress. Below are the images of what I aquired

Jambo Rosemary, how are you doing these days and how is your business doing? This is James, one of the lenders. You said that you have a business of beauty, so I am assuming that you mainly sell cosmetics for women, perhaps perfumes too. What else do you sell? What about just a few items of clothing that women want, like pretty underclothes, things that they purchase often. It would not take up much room in your shop and you would get more sales. They may as well buy them from you and it would be expanding your business so to speak. Think about it. Do you sell mens shaving lotion, after shave, or other such items for men? The women may buy such items for their husbands or fathers or boyfriends. I am praying for you and your business every day. Let me know how you are doing, I want you to succeed. Take care, James

Jambo Jackline, how are you and your daughter doing and how is your business? This is James, one of the lenders. Joy is the perfect name for your daughter as I'm sure that she brings you much joy. I have not heard that name in many years. Were you able to get the blow dryer? I am sure you were busy during the holidays. I have a daughter in Nakuru who has a salon and she always tells me how busy she is during the holidays. Yes the women like their hair to look nice. You didn't mention it but do you also cut mens hair? If not, think of all the extra money you could be making. Men need their hair cut too. Grow your business one step at a time and be patient along the way to your goal, you'll make it, I have confidence in you that you will. Get to know your customers real well, perhaps write their names in a book. It's good to keep records for various reasons. Perhaps offer them a discount on their next hairdo if they bring in a new customer. Another way to get some extra money is to sell snacks and sodas to the waiting customers. Do you have a fridge? How about enough chairs for waiting customers? I know it's hot in Nakuru now and my daughter (another one) told me that people are really buying a lot of sodas. My daughter has an m-pesa and a store. I also have a daughter named Jackline who works at a lodge. She was on the cover of the "SATURDAY with the Daily Nation" magazine in 2000. Beautiful girl she is, of course all my daughters are beautiful to me. You also could make the cover of a magazine, really. I've been to Kenya 3 times, have many daughters and sons there. Beautiful place, beautiful people. Am praying for you and Joy and your business every day. Let me know how you are doing, I want you to succeed Jackline. Give that Joy a hug and kiss for me. Am sure she's "as cute as a button" (a saying). She's got to be, she's your daughter. Take care. James
