I am going to invest all you have lent me to boosting the business. Two more bales will be bought immediately the funds are transferred to me. This will help me create jobs for deserving families, increase my ability to provide for my babies, and spare some money for my new found friends, Sam, Wagama and David, three kids from poor families who I found out that they got sent from school for a combined total of just $9 fees arrears! I will pay their fees and monitor their progress. Thank you for giving me this miracle, my dear lenders, and I will be on point in repaying! There are two main types of organisations that have put learning materials on the Internet to help everyone have access to education. There are universities that have published their lecture courses like the famous MIT in America http://ocw.mit.edu/index.htm Then there are organisations which have set up websites simply to provide free learning resources like https://www.khanacademy.org/ There is a wide variety of material available from lecture notes and free textbooks to videos. It can be difficult to track down exactly what you want sometimes. But as I said I would be happy to help. So if there are any specific topics you would like to find resources on just let me know and I will see what I can find.

Please don't stress out about it; it's very common for loans to become fully funded on the very last day, sometimes even in the very last hours. Here's some information for you; please read it and please share it with anyone and everyone you know who's a borrower on Zidisha, as it should help to reduce your & their stress levels: http://forum.zidisha.org/threads/loan-funding.3375/#post-20074 Kindest regards, Laurie

I bought second hand electronics and sold at wholesale price. This enable me to repay my loan. They were in demand as many people can't afford new electronics. I choose this kind of business because I had no money and reinvested US$150.00. My typical cost at present is about US$200.00. I get a profit of about 50%. The profit helps me to educate my children, use some of it for our upkeep and also reinvest. in the business so that it can grow.

Hmm, well, the "Like" link isn't working for me here or I'd "Like" this photo... I *do* like this photo! :) Well, Matt, I can tell you that goat meat is delicious... (I no longer eat that or any meat, though... more about that in a moment)... I tried goat meat as a teenager when I was in the Marquesas Islands in French Polynesia (in the mid-1970s) with my parents, younger brother, a foster brother, and our cat... (there were no tourists there at that time... no cruise ships... nothing of that sort... not even electricity on most of the islands at the time... and on the only island in the group that did have electricity [Nuku-Hiva], it was from a generator that the mayor turned off at night when he went to sleep... on a starless, moonless night, you literally could not see your hand in front of your face!... anyway, besides the Marquesans, and a few others living there [some French nationals] at the time, and aside from the copra boat that came once a month from Tahiti [of the Society Islands] to pick up copra and drop off some provisions not otherwise available in the Marquesas, only those of us living aboard small, private sailboats & sailing there were present on those islands back then)... but I digress!... back to the goats... some of the men on Fatu-Hiva hunted a mountain goat and made us dinner on the beach one night... today, however, I would *never* eat meat of any kind... since August 2011, I've eaten mostly just whole vegan fare (some of it is not whole; i.e., some of it is processed, such as gluten-free bread, homemade or otherwise, but really I don't eat many processed foods anymore, either)... I've given up dairy (especially dairy!), meat/eggs/fish, added sugars and other unhealthy food additives, and most processed foods, for numerous reasons (only one of which is that eating this way, I am much healthier now than before). That said, there was a time when I used to eat meat, too... so, although I cannot look at the photo of the goat being killed, I won't give anybody a lecture about why it's so much better (for so many reasons) for human beings to eat mostly just whole vegan fare instead. ;) I love the photo of you hugging these goats! :) Kind regards, Laurie
