I was born from a merchant father and a homemaker mother. When I was child, I loved animals. During the holidays, I took animals to graze every morning. Naturally, I got into the farming sector, one which occupies a prominent place in the Burkinabe economy. I started with a few chickens given by my parents and after some years I got into the business of cattle. I have a daughter and a mother that I take care of. I am passionate about sports, especially football.
I buy and sell cattle within and outside the country. The demand for meat is very important in Burkina Faso. Beyond Burkina demand, excess supplies of cattle are exported to Ghana, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, and many other countries. Therefore, this is a very promising segment of the Burkinabe economy. I buy four cattle per week at $ 200 per cattle and I resell them three weeks later to $ 250 per cattle. Part of the profit is reinvested, the other is saved, and another part is for my family expenses.
This loan will serve me to grow my animal farm. If possible, I would like to have other ruminant animals, such as sheep and goats. Furthermore, I would like the Zidisha team to pay more attention to Africans. Thank you.
