Hi everyone, my name is Muhammad & usually called "Kang Mad", originally from Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia, I am the youngest of 2 (two) siblings, I am only a graduate of a vocational high school majoring in culinary arts in Surakarta, I am one of the young people who were forced to work at a young age since 5 (five) years ago, due to financial constraints from both of our parents. Since school I rarely get pocket money and am forced to walk to school and the school fees that I should pay per month, I have to wait for my parents to have money and usually can only pay once every 3 (three) months after the coconut harvest arrives, because at that time there was an economic crisis in Indonesia since the Covid pandemic, I have to try to get income for daily family expenses including paying for standard living such as daily food, electricity, water and my education costs. My hobbies are rock climbing and socializing with friends for social issues. I started this business because the only plant that my family manages is coconut trees.
My business is young coconut ice, a very simple culinary venture with minimal capital but high potential daily profits because it can be consumed by people of all ages. My product is original young coconut ice, with various flavors, such as syrup and palm sugar. My target market is motorists, city workers, school children, and young people. My main goal is to generate profits to finance my education to a higher level. Thank you, Zidisha, for allowing me to join the global Zidisha membership.
The purpose of my second loan is to increase work efficiency, maintain employee safety in this business and optimize profits in the young coconut ice business, including speeding up service time for customers in splitting coconuts manually with a splitting knife because it takes a long time. The direct results in the future in this project are also to save labor so that it will increase the production capacity of this business to be even greater. The benefits that I will get through this project are an increase in net net income from previously 12 (twelve) percent to between 15 (fifteen) percent to 20 (twenty) percent per week.
