I am a single of three children. I live in Kawama shanty compound located in Kitwe. I did not do well in during the tenure of secondary school. I was got pregnant and that is how I was able to drop out of school. While growing I lost my both parents and life was not easy. Living with my relatives it was so hard for me cope with life. Through networking with my peers in our community , I came across a friend who helped me with some funds to venture into business. When I ventured into entrepreneurship my life started changing steadily. I developed the passion because I started making good income and surviving well with my children. Looking after 3 children all by myself was not easy. I started believing in myself and the business got well established and I'm planning to expand to grow my business. I live in a land that is fertile and I plan to start farming the vegetable crops so that I can have additional income . Looking the hardship I went through , it is my desire to have children attain better education in lives and unlock more opportunities in their lives . During my free time , I take time to help my children to go through their school work because I want to do better and succeed in their lives.
I have a small shop in Kawama compound where I live. I provide clothing of different types to ladies, men and children clothing. These clothing they are latest clothing that young men, ladies and children buy easily. I have increased demand daily but due to lack of enough capital I'm unable to meet demand. I started this business with ZMW 3000.00 and my working capital is now ZMW 12000.00, per week I make between ZMW 1800-2500. Should I increase my working capital I will be generating more profit and grow the business. The profits will used to pay school fees for three children who currently school pursuing difefferet career programs.
Following the cold season , the demand for casual jackets for men increased , hence I need to use the funds mainly to buy this consignment to meet the increased demand and make more profits and the profits made will be used to pay the school fees for my children and rent a good to be selling the clothing sales.
