My name is agness I live Lusaka, Zambia. I am a single mother looking after my 3 beautiful daughters and my paralysed husband. Both my parents dead when I was very little leaving me under my anuties care the living condition was not good so i had to drop out of school to sell vegetables at the market and helped with chores too. I later fell pregnant and I was chased out of the house, luckily the father of my child took me in but even though he was still trying to put his life together during that period i fel pregnant again for the second and third child. Life was ok he would go and do small works to provide for the family and i was also helping out by selling vegetables and clothes then life took a huge turn my husbaand was involved in a very terrible car accident in 2022 living him paralysed and losing one leg. Life has not been easy my children dropped out of school so that we can pay for the hospital bills and provide for the family.

I have to work extra hard because all bills are on me which hasn't been easy because he use to be the bread winner and provide but now I look after him.

His always in and out of hospitals and at times it gets very serious that he stays in hospital for weeks.

Currently I have just focused on the clothes business I own a small shop in town that deals in selling African dresses and other clothes too.

A close friend of mine told me about Zidisha I felt hope raise again and I'm more than blessed and grateful.

I own a small shop that deals with clothes especially traditional dresses that are made from traditional prints and tire&dye.

I have been in this business for more than 6 years and it has helped me provide for my sick husband and for my family's up keep.

My business contributes to the community by clothing and attracting others on our cultures.

With your help I will be able to grow my business, help pay medical bills for my husband and feed my family.

By growing my business I will have more to offer to the people, different types of clothing.
