My name is Hattini Konate. I was born August 8, 1981 in Koro. Currently I live in the Konate family sector 1 (Farakan) of Bobo. There are five of us in our family; our father died in 1998 and my mother is a housewife in the village. I went to school to get my BEPC (secondary education diploma) and after that I decided to get involved in the field of tires. Our place of business is located at the Paysan roundabout, and the shop faces the Petrofa gas station not far from the Boulevard de la Revolution.
I am engaged in the sale of tires after failing competitive examinations several times and because I saw my brothers practicing in this area which seemed profitable. Now I realize that tire sales is a good fit, which is why I decided to devote myself to it even though I have some other side businesses. Currently we buy used tires from France for small cars at 4,000 or 4,500 CFA francs at best and we resell them for 5,500 or 6,000 CFA francs. For trailers we can find secondhand tires, which cost 60,000 or 65,000 CFA francs, and we resell them at 75,000 or 80,000 CFA francs.
Hello dear lenders,
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with you and strengthen my abilities. This current loan will enable me to increase my capital and to meet some of the needs of my business. Once again, thank you for everything you do for us small business owners.
