My name is Oluwadunsin Oladipo Segun. I'm a hardworking Nigerian Entrepreneur based in Ilesa, Osun State. I am hardworking, responsible and committed to integrity, personal development and creating sustainable income through entrepreneurship.
At present, I run NeatNest Laundry Hub coupled with the desire and decision to expand my entrepreneurial vision with professional training in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (RAC) with the long-term goal of establishing Precision Cooling and Refrigeration Services.
I believe strongly in continuous learning, practical skills development and entrepreneurship as access to sustainable livelihoods, community service and stable financial life.
I am a returning Zidisha borrower and my previous loans has been repaid fully. Additionally, I want to make known my commitment to borrowing responsibly and prompt repayment of loan.
NeatNest Laundry Hub is an existing laundry business run by me and our services include, fabric washing, starching, ironing and other essential fabric care that individuals and household derives from doing business with us.
I am pursuing a professional training in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (RAC) in an attempt to diversify my income and expand my entrepreneurial opportunities. This will eventually bring another business- Precision Cooling and Refrigeration Services into existence. It will focus on refrigeration and air conditioning installation, maintenance and repairs.
My immediate objective is to strengthen my NeatNest Laundry Hub while developing the required technical skills and building capacity for the proposed cooling and Refrigeration business.
I am seeking support to acquire vocational skills in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (RAC), with the goal of establishing Precision Cooling and Refrigeration Services in Ilesa, Osun State.
I currently operate NeatNest Laundry Hub but its income is still growing. Acquiring an additional technical skills will broaden my self-employment opportunities and help me build a more sustainable future.
I have secured an opportunity for 10-month practical training with an established RAC technician in town for a training fee of #30,000. Under his supervision, I will gain hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing customers' faulty refrigerators and air-conditioners while studying the theoretical aspects independently.
The requested #38,260 will cover training fee, some of the essential personal tools and safety equipment needed as training progresses and the estimated Zidisha service charges.
This training will equip me with valuable technical skills, create another potential source of income and help me support my family. It will enable me to provide useful refrigeration and Air-conditioning services to households and businesses in my community and essentially, create opportunities for others.
I am committed to using the funds responsibly, updating my backers and participating in Zidisha's Pay it Forward Community as my financial circumstances permit.
