I am a young Burkinabe who grew up in the popular neighborhood Gounghin where I attended primary school with some difficulty and Montaigne high school in the same neighborhood. After obtaining my BEPC, I left school because my parents did not have the means to continue to pay my tuition. After all, I was not alone as there are 9 of us children. I went fully into working life to support myself and my little brothers. I think I have fulfilled my duty. But the fact remains that the ambition is still there to go ahead, especially because I have my children to educate and push as far as possible. I have 3 girls who are all educated and they are doing well in their studies. My current hobbies are reading and walking.
The computer maintenance I do allows me to support myself and my daughters in school. Computer science and information technology, in general, are developing in Africa. It is an ever-growing business sector and I believe that with a little support I can develop my great business for a better return.
In order to make my wife financially independent to participate in a responsible manner to the smooth functioning of the family, I intend to use the loan to begin a table selling lollipops, cookies, chewing gum and treats for her to manage. Middle-term, the profits generated will be used to open a kiosk and, long-term, a shop selling general merchandise.
