I grew up in Kirinyaga sub location, Kirinyaga county. Life was hard because my father was jobless but with hard work an prayers i manged to go through the hardship. Today I am in Nairobi- Kibera slum. I am married with two children. I am looking at my future with great hope, I do not want to be a failure. I desire my children to live a better life than I did.
The business is my only source of income. My business deals with selling of kitchen utensils and a mini grocery shop.I started the business because jobs were scarce and there was a business potential in me.
My biggest challenge is lack of capital to stock my business. My customers are the residents of Karanja estate in kirinyaga.
I a month i make profits of upto $ 230 which i use to expand the business more and cater for my family needs.
I desire to grow my business to wholesale and to stock a variety of household items.
Given the loan i will stock a variety of groceries that meet my clients tastes and preferences at a cost of $150. I will also add kitchen utensils.
With this i target my Profits and sales to go up, I have got new customers who have became regulars because of what I offer.
