My name is Joan a second born in a family of 6 I grew up in Nyamira county and finished my primary and high school studies in the same county. Since childhood my dream was to be a beautician ,to learn my own saloon in future .After school i requested a small amount of cash from my parents and ventured into salon business. The business has been running smoothly until a friend of mine introduced me to Zidisha. I am blessed with one son he promises after school he wants to be a teacher. I love my neighbors and i like to making new friends.

i have a small saloon shop where i sell cosmetics and do weaving, weaving is on demand compared to cosmetic selling. i choose this kind of business because of the customers in the area where I stay they are readily available

When i will receive the money , i will buy the braids and cosmetics in wholesale and use them to beautify my clients. i will also sell others at a retail price for those ones who need them for their upkeep.to my family i will use the money to buy basic needs and pay school fees to my children.
