My name is Rose, i grew up i live in eldoret.
I have always been interested in entrepreneurship, and my dream of having my own business started when I was a little girl. My mom was a business woman and I always admired what she was doing to provide for our family. I developed an interest in starting my own small store by watching my mother and concentrating on how she ran her business. I started helping with the business and assisting my mother with the finances until I knew how to do the accounts by myself.
After my mother passed away, I began my own small business by selling ground nuts and peanuts in class during my first year of high school. I expanded my business by selling sweets and other snacks in between classes.
Because of my small business selling snacks and the grace of God, I was able to get by and have enough money to live. Thank you very much for reading my story and considering my loan, and may God bless you and bless the work of your hands.
My busines is of selling second hand clothes. I decided to start my own small business because I wanted to be self-employed as well as gain more knowledge about how to run a company. I look forward to being my own boss and running the business by myself. The customers of my boutique live in the community of eldoret, but my biggest challenge is that sometimes my customers cannot pay their debts.
My biggest goal in having this business is to expand my store. There aren't many jobs in eldoret, so I hope to one day be able to hire employees so they are able to have jobs to provide for themselves and their families. By providing employment opportunities for some people in the community, In a month i make profits of $100 which i use to cater for my family needs and expand the business more.
