My name is Ann. I am a born again Christian. I was born in in Kitale District but I moved to Nairobi after my marriage. My husband comes from Nairobi where we reside.
Since during our time education particularly for the girl child was not valued, It was not a big deal that after my High school I did not get a chance to go to College. However, I only wish I got it as I could be very far in life from where I am today. I do not regret though and that is why I work very hard to give my children an education.
I am a wife and a mother of 3 children . I operate a small restaurant in Nairobi town centre and I depend on my business to provide for my family. My husband works on our farm and together we support our children.
I have a strong desire to succeed and I hope that with this loan my business will grow and I will generate enough income to support my family.
My business involves fast foods (Chips, Chicken, Sausages, Smokies etc) and roast meat. I decided to start this business in the year 2012 after observing that many young adults in my area had no time to cook in their houses. the biggest challenge is the lack of reliable electricity leading to wastage of food mainly chicken and meat.
In the future my goal is to become a large scale hotelier and supplier of chicken products. I usually make profits of upto $ 200 per month which I use half to expand the business and the res half to cater for my family needs.
i am proud of my business because it has created employment and provided for my daily needs.
Because i now own a deep freezer i would like to purchase more stocks in bulk. This is cheaper than purchasing on a daily basis. Chicken, Potatoes, Sausages, Smokies and roast meat are the main dishes and i would like to add their quantities which will cost me approximately $ 180. With more customers sales will go up and it will directly translate to more profits thus enhancing my living standards and that of my staff.
Add stock of food stuffs to my restaurant
