My names are Micheal Mburu Gichuhi. I was born in Subukia. We were born ten in our family, six sisters and four brothers while I am the third born in our family. In 1982, we moved to Njoro Division, Lare Location, Pwani village. And in 1984 I stared my education at lare primary school. I completed my primary education in 1992 where I got my Kenya national examination council certificate. After primary education I stayed at home helping my parents with domestic works while later in 1995 I joined a electronic course. I learned for the course for 1 year while in 1996 I was employed at Baraka investment where I worked for one year.
In 1997 to1998 I travelled to Kisii, where I did farming for the two years. In the year 200, I come back to Naivasha where in 2003; I joined Homegrown Kenya Limited where I worked for five years. At the time I am a father of two boys and a husband of a beautiful lady.
In 2008, I started a business of hawking clothes after job. I started the business with 10,000 which I had saved as my saving by that time. The second round my business was so nice so I increased the capital with 15,000/= Kenyan money, while in the year 2008 I was able to rum my business very well. In 2009, I joined a certain ‘merry go round’ of 10 people which we used to contribute 1000/= Kenyan money which later we used to give a single person after a weak. This really improved my job. Later in the year 2009, I joined N.E.H.I. WHILE IN 2010 August I was given a loan of 50,000/= Kenya money which I paid according to their instructions. In 2011 I hired a farm where I planted bean, which I harvested seven bags of beans. I have been going on with this business of farming from that time to now, while also I still go on with clothes selling which it have given me a good hope in business. But with all that, I have a vision with this two kind of jobs. I want to improve them in a higher rate and that why am asking zidisha to help me.
After getting that loan I wish to expand my clothes business. I will use 10,000 to add my to add my stock. I hope to employ someone to be helping me manage my business. The other 10,000 I wish to hire more piece of land so that I will be able to get more profit. I wish also to employ someone to be wokring in my shop.
