My name is Ogrey Simazaza, a single mother of one child. I grew up in Chimwemwe township in Kitwe. I lived with both of parents and attained my primary school education at Chimwemwe Primary School. I obtained good grades and my performance in primary school enabled me to proceed to high school. However, I did not manage to complete my high school following the death of my father. Going to school, I was being chased due to none payments of school fees and this affected my overall well being and dropped out of school. Nevertheless, after months of hardships and helping my mother who was a cancer patients I decided to start something of own in order to over come hardship to support myslef and my sick mother, seeing that the area I lived had so much fertile land and seeing most farmers suffering where to get good seedlings, pesticides and herbicides, I decided to venture into Agro business where I sale assorted farming products to help farmers rearing livestock buy chemicals for prevention of diseases and pests attacking crops, after realizing that agro-business is proftable , I intend to expand and impact my community with agro farming products to solve their problems in farming of crops and keeping livestock for sale.
I have a small agro shop, where I sale agro products for crop farming and livestock. The challenge I have is not having enough capital to invest in the business to grow. With the increasing demand of livestock products and crop farming , I'm failing to meet demand. I started the business one year ago with just K 1000.00 and I have increased my working capital to K 7500.00 Should I be helped I will do very well in shop inventory and expand the business.
I need the funds to expand my business, I ran an Agro shop selling assorted farming chemicals such fertilizer, seedlings, pesticides, livestock chemicals and veterinary chemicals. I have demand and I want to meet all the demands of my customers and by so doing I will be making a lot of money. As such my community will be impacted with Agrovet shop and the funds generated will be used to expand and also home improvement in the time being.
