my name is Joseph kiptoo koech, I was born in 1981 in koibatek, currently mogotio district. i am the first born in the family of eight. I went to school in kibotany primary where I finished my eight years in the year 1998 and joined Tenges high school in 1999. I joined Egerton university for a diploma course in 2005 and graduated in the year 2008. in the year 2012 I relocated to eldoret for self employment.
after graduating I was employed under contract in one of the sisal farm in Nakuru and the contract ended. there after I talked with my family members to assist me in raising capital so that I could start my own business in Eldoret where I was hosted by one of my cousin before I could live on my own. luckly I was able to open an auto spare shop through the family contribution and that's where am earning the source of living. there are many challenges which I face in this kind of business such stiff competition, sometimes the business is seasonal especially that in this county (uasin gishu) mostly we depend on farmers after harvest season. so to overcome such challenges do small faming within the county which assist me in supporting my family welfare.
if I will get the opportunity to get the loan, I will invest in my auto spares shop. fist an foremost I will buy two cartons of oil filters, two cartons of elements and four cartons of petrol oil these are fast moving commodities in every auto spare shop. These will give me a 30% profit after sales. secondly will add one carton plugs and six pieces of toyota CV joints.
