Once upon time in a village of Mpongwe township, a female hero was born named Ruth Banda. Dreaming of going to school was unthinkable at the age of 6 years old because I lost my biological parents at the age of 2 years old and I grew up with my Auntie who was a teacher at Mpongwe Secondary School. She inspired me to work very hard to succeed in life. When opportunity came to start school I worked very hard and completed my high school level of education. I started baking and making flitters , cup cakes and doughnuts to raise funds to further my education. Hence that is how I became an entrepreneur in selling and supplying flitters, cups cakes and doughnuts in different shops.

I own a shop in the township of Mpongwe, where I make flitters , cup cakes and doughnuts to the people in our community especially in school where school children buy frequently. These flitters, cup cakes and doughnuts are very much affordable and the biggest market is the school children and demand is increasing on a daily basis due lack of capacity to buy all the raw materials needed to make nice flitters , cups cakes and doughnuts. I need support of funds to buy 50kg flour, baking powder, 5L of cooking oil and a stove , of which I need at least ZMW 15,000 as the initial budget to cover the total cost of all the raw materials needed for baking. However, the more the quantity , the more I will be able to meet demand and more profits and the funds will be used to grow the business and support the well being of my family.

The funds needed I want to buy the bakery equipment and raw materials for me to work effectively and supply more cup cakes, scorns, doughnuts, buns and wedding cakes. Therefore I will generate more income and expand the business.
